HEA Vice President

It is my honor to serve as our HEA Vice President. As a new officer, I am learning a great deal and will continue to do so in order to more effectively represent our union. I believe in us and our collective power. Solidarity is not always easy, but it is our greatest strength.

I have been involved in various aspects of our union at the local, regional, state, and national levels. In my 25 years of teaching, I have been privileged to experience different districts, levels, and positions. For the first 14 years of my career, I was an Intervention Specialist. Since then, I have been teaching 6th grade Language Arts.
